Our Scholarship

The Ohio University Columbus Alumni Network Endowed Scholarship was established in 1994 and provides a $1,000 continuing award to an incoming first year student to the Athens campus who is a son or daughter of a Central Ohio alumni.

Since its inception, the endowment has provided tuition assistance totaling $83,000 to more than 33 students from 24 different high schools.

Currently we provide $4,000 annually, assisting four continuing students who maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and make normal progress toward graduation in four years.

2022 Fundraising

Topgolf Event a Success and Raises Funds for Scholarship: The second annual Ohio University Columbus Alumni Network’s Topgolf Columbus event took place November 13, 2022 and was a huge success! It was a Bobcat-filled day that raised more than $2,700 for the Network’s Endowed Scholarship.

It was a bit chilly, but the heaters were working, and we hope everyone who joined us enjoyed the day with OU alumni from central Ohio.

The winning team earned gift cards from Crooked Can Brewing for their victory. The highest individual score winner received a pair of tickets to an upcoming Columbus Blue Jackets game.
